DR. JOSEPH P. FOLGER IN SLOVENIA

The honoured guest speaker at the International Congres of Transformative Mediation will be Dr. Joseph P. Folger, founding father of transformative mediation and co-author of the book "The Promise of Mediation: Responding to Conflict Through Empowerment and Recognition", which represents the ground literature work conserning transformative mediation.

On Thursday, 10th of November (the day before the Congress), Dr. Folger will hold an exclusive one-day seminar: "Transformative Mediation: Core Principles and Practice".

INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF TRANSFORMATIVE MEDIATION

The Congress is intended for mediators, coaches, researchers and potential participants of mediation from Europe and the world under the slogan: ''Changing people, changing the world. The transformative way of dealing with conflict.''

At the Congress we will meet with renowned experts with varied backgrounds and perspectives in the field of conflict resolution. The Congress is aimed at supporting the development of transformative mediation, harmonization of transformative mediation in Slovenia and the methods of alternative dispute resolution. The Congress includes transformative mediation and work scope of transformative mediators.

The honoured guest speaker at the Congres will be Mr. Joseph P. Folger, co-author of the book »The Promise of Mediation: Responding to Conflict Through Empowerment and Recognition«, which represents the fundamental literature work concerning transformative mediation.
